Holy Bible and the Sacraments, Box (9-12)

Symbols help us see complex ideas more easily. The 9 to 12 year-old child enjoys deciphering symbol. This material is designed to support complex conversations about the place of sacraments and their roots in Holy Scripture. The seven sacrament (or two sacraments and five sacramentals) insets are ready for the children to explore and organize into groupings.

The insets sit into the frame the child may easily remove them by pushing upwards on the back.

You have the option to add the storage box. It is designed to hold the insets and frames along with the other parts of the lesson when not in use.
The box lid has the title of the material and the area of room it is housed within. The interior of the lid can come blank or with a definition of sacrament though which we ponder during this work. (Note: it has been slightly modified from the English translation of Cavalletti's works for readability and grammar.)

Material: Birch Wood, Laser cut
Insets: 3" square x .25" thick
Frames: 5" square x .42" thick
Box: 15 long x 11 wide x 2 deep (inches)

Instructions are provided for sealing the wood with painting and beeswax.
There may be a slight smell of burnt wood from the laser process.
