Coming to God for Themselves

As a long-time Montessori educator in elementary environments and within Christian education settings, I made lots of my own materials. A church hired me to begin a Montessori Sunday school in their brand new church. It met in a school. My carefully made materials could not be left out. Rather they had to be packed away quickly by people who were volunteering and wanting to get their families to lunch. Inadvertently works began to be damaged.

So, I plotted and dreamt about making quality materials out of cloth and wood. I had a list of must haves: 1. meets the needs of the child, 2. beautifully designed, 3. sustainability, and 4. cleanability.

I experimented for several years and finally came up with a method to provide these thoughtfully designed materials to others. Over COVID, we added several 3D printed materials to our offerings when no suitable alternative could be found. Every piece is beta tested by trained Montessorians and Catechists (CGSUSA); we modify as we observe over time.

We do a good bit of custom work for specific sizes, languagesdenominational/church-specific needs, worship aids, and adaptations for regional/cultural expression in materials. If you don't see something, just ask.
