This puzzle is appropriate for the 20 month to 3.5 year-old child. This puzzle encourages toddler to continue in their drive for language acquisition and refinement of fine motor skills. This sheep design was specifically chosen because it is patterned off of a Middle Eastern Fat Tailed Sheep. This was the common sheep cared for during the time of Jesus.

The children can engage this material on multiple levels: 1. to remove and return the puzzle pieces and 2. to learn sheep's nomenclature - the head, tail, fore legs, hind legs, body.

This material arrives to you UNPAINTED. You choose how the sheep is painted. Instructions are provided for painting, sealing the wood with beeswax, and inserting the knobs.

Note:
This material is unpainted.

It is disassembled for easy of painting or waxing. There are precut holes for the included knobs. Once your finishing is complete, a small amount of hot glue will hold the knobs in.

There may be a slight smell of burnt wood from the laser process.
