Infancy Narratives - 6 Dioramas (6-9)

Assist your children as they ponder the Mystery of the Incarnation with the full set 6-9 of Infancy Dioramas. This material is designed for children ages 6-9 (ages of CGS Levels 2) and is helpful as the children revisit the six age-appropriate narratives: Annunciation, Visitation, Birth, Adoration of the Magi, Presentation at the Temple, and the Flight into Egypt).

The dioramas and accessories come to you unfinished (there is an option for assembly) so you can paint them as little or as much you feel is appropriate for your children. There are purpose made slots in the top of the Annunciation and Adoration of the Magi for you to insert the included Holy Spirit and Comet. The temple is stored in a box. The gates and the steps fit inside and make quite an impression when they are revealed to the child. The Flight into Egypt is a Tryptic that the children assemble. It is stored in its own narrower (4 inch wide) storage box. Both boxes are designed to be large enough to hold the narratives figures.

Additionally, the Annunciation includes a table, the Visitation includes crib, the birth includes a trough, and the Adoration includes a table. The Flight into Egypt comes with a road sign pointing "Egypt" and "Bethlehem" You provide your own figures. (We use painted peg people for ours.)

NOTE: The disparity in price between assembled and flat packed is due to the "oversized" fee that is charged by USPS.

We designed these materials to easily be able sit on a standard 8 inch deep x 10 inch high bookshelf if displayed showing the width of the box. If it is displayed so the end of the box show it fits a standard 12 inch deep x 14 in high bookshelf.

Each is also designed to be carried by the child (or you) using the two windows on either end. All are standard sized and each comes with a lid for easy storage. (We've had mobile atria in the past and this helps quite a bit.) Each box comes with an etched icon on one end and the top to help make the work more easily identified. So, in a small atrium, the boxes can sit with the end visible and the icon helps guide the child's choice.
