Typology in the Atrium (9-12)

The exploration of scripture is a lifelong process. As the child shifts into the 9 to 12 years, offering them a lens to process the narratives, prophecies, letters, and poetry of scripture becomes more important. The work of Sophia Cavaletti provides a thoughtful, hope centered method. These 5 mats are designed to teach the children the process of reading scripture this way.

These cloth underlays are beautiful and easy to unroll, lay flat during the study, and store. The dark boarder allows for the material to be highly visible from any location.They are durable heavy weight cotton printed with vegetable-based dye.

Optionally you may choose to add on the storage box which mimics the scroll boxes of the 1st century. We recommend using the wooden tags (provided but not pictured) and a scrunchie or silicone twist to label your scrolls.

Note: CLOTH ARRIVES TO YOU UNFINISHED AND THE BOX IS UNPAINTED. We do include directions for successfully assembling and painting your purchase.
